If you’re looking for a relaxing place at the Red Sea, you can’t go wrong with the Marriott Beach Resort in Hurghada. There are numourous luxury properties along the coastline of Hurghada and this hotel is undeniably one of the best choices visitors can make. From the second you enter the hotel you will experience the outstanding service that this five star property offers to every single one of it’s guests.
A Quick Overview
The Marriott Beach Resort is located in the heart of Hurghada. It’s just a quick taxi drive away from the Marina and the staff will be happy to arrange a ride for you. There is also free wifi access in all public areas of the hotel.
After check-in I headed straight to the beach. The sand beach is directly accessible from the hotel. You can lounge in the sun loungers and enjoy the view of the private island and the nearby yachts. Pure bliss! If you are more a pool-kind-of-type, have a dip in the swimming pool and a cocktail in your hand while relaxing in the sun. To fully complete your luxurious stay, book a massage on the island. If you feel more adventurous, go and pay the diving center a visit or play some tennis and squash. Also make sure to watch a performance of the belly dancer at the bar in the evening.
The Room
I stayed in the Venus Suite on the second floor, that offers two air-conditioned rooms (a bed and a living room) with several features. There are two TVs, a mini bar and a tea and coffee making facility. The bath room also provides a hairdryer and some amenities.
It was a nice touch to have some Arabic desserts waiting on the table upon our arrival.
My personal highlight was the amazing sea view outside the window, that all rooms are facing. I wouldn’t mind to wake up every day to it!
The Service
A favorite of mine was the breakfast buffet (I have a thing for breakfasts!). You will find a wide-variety of hot and cold international and traditional Egyptian dishes. Two chefs make sure that you have your eggs, waffles and pancakes made to your preferences. Yummy! They also have the most tasty hummus that I’ve ever tried! Besides the amazing food, you will surely enjoy the view of the beach area.
The dining options available inside the hotel are plentiful, if you don’t feel like leaving the hotel. You can have lunch at the pool area and Italian dinner at the Ristorante Tuscany. Or simply order room service, if you are too tired after a full day of snorkeling.
