I booked a one-way ticket. This fact doesn’t sound too exciting, but it’s more than a simple flight to a foreign destination. This flight tickets marks the day that I will move to another country! Only one month to go until it’s time to pack my bags, say goodbye to my loved ones and start a life abroad. I can’t wait to explore my new home, discover unknown alleys, taste different food, meet locals and overall, have an unique kind of experience. Where will my one-way ticket carry me to?
I will be moving to…
Istanbul!
Istanbul, there is no other place in the world quite like you.
During my first visit I was fascinated by this huge city. It simply took my breath away and I knew that I need to come back and see more of the hustle-and-bustle of Istanbul. It is the only city that is situated on two continents, linking Europe and Asia. Pretty amazing, huh? It is a metropolis that easily combines the modern and the traditional which creates an one-of-a-kind magical atmosphere. If you haven’t been to Istanbul yet, I strongly recommend you to pay it a visit.
So, what will I do in Istanbul you ask? I will study for a year at an university. My bachelor’s program requires me to spend a year studying abroad (can’t complain about that!), so I decided to choose Istanbul as my new home. I encourage everyone that has the opportunity to study in a foreign country to take this chance, because it will truly change your life. After my first unforgettable year abroad, I can’t wait what the next months will have in store for me!
I would love to hear about your experience! Have you studied abroad or did you move to another country ?
